For topical administration, local anesthetic drugs are used to alleviate unpleasant sensations by preventing or diminishing the conduction of sensory nerve impulses near to the site of their application. Various studies have reported that microemulsions increase skin permeation of drugs.
Microemulsions were prepared with isopropyl myristate as oil.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
