I. Background: Question Prompt Lists (QPLs) are evidence-based compilations of questions, arranged by topic, to assist patients’, family and caregivers’ active participation in medical encounters. QPLs originated in the oncology setting and have also been developed and evaluated for use in other settings including palliative care (PC).
