New resources to support pharmacists in disaster and emergency settings are published by FIP today.

These resources provide essential guidance through a short video, educational cards, and key recommendations on:

• Supply chain management: Strategies for ensuring medicine availability, cold chain integrity, and regulatory preparedness in crises.
• Regulatory preparedness: Policies enabling pharmacists to extend prescriptions, administer vaccines, and support emergency care.
• Preparedness strategies: Strengthening pharmacy-led emergency response through research, training, and partnerships.
• Emergency response: Mobilising pharmacy teams, ensuring medication access, and supporting communities during disasters.
