Background:
Dyslipidaemia is a major cardiovascular risk factor in the South African population.
Aims:
To determine the prescribing patterns of hypolipidaemic agents on the South African market with specific emphasis on the Prescribed Daily Doses (PDDs) of HMG CoA reductase inhibitors (statins).
Methods:
A retrospective, cross-sectional.. The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
