Background

CKD was reported to be associated with pre-existing diseaseã€renal disease, concomitant use of nephrotoxic drugs and old age. Chronic pain (sciaticaã€osteoarthrosis etc.) is very prevalent in the elderly population, and NSAIDs are the most commonly prescribed drugs to relieve pain.
