Erythrocytes loaded with primaquine (PQ) have the potential to provide an effective therapy. The advantages over the administration of free PQ include a lower systemic dose, decreased toxicity, a sustained delivery to the site of malarial infection and increased efficacy.
The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of PQ-loading.. The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
