  • Abstract:

    Backgrounds

Nanostructured montmorillonite (MMT) and laponite (LAP) clay materials were utilised to fabricate novel clay-lipid hybrid particles for oral drug delivery. MMT and LAP possess unique charge properties whereby positive and negative charges co-exist on the platelet surfaces, and may interact with charged drug molecules.
