Background: Efforts are being made worldwide, by e.g. WHO and FIP, to strengthen the implementation of Good Pharmacy Practices (GPP). An essential tool to evaluate baseline status and any progress is a standard method of assessment. However, international indicators for assessing pharmacy practices are lacking
