  It is just over a decade since pharmacovigilance gained importance in India. There is a need to improve overall pharmacovigilance system in India. There is a dearth of information with regard to pharmacovilance of herbal medicines.

  Pubmed database was searched with keywords “Pharmacovigilance” and “India”.
