Sodium cromoglycate is mast cell stabilizer and is used in the management of chronic asthma. It has 8 to 10% bioavailability on inhalation and has short half life of 1.3h. The purpose of the present research work was to increase bioavailability of Sodium cromoglycate and reduce dosing frequency by formulating mucoadhesive chitosan nanoparticles..
