Specialised nutrition in cancer care is the focus of a new FIP CPD Bite series launched today. It highlights the significant impact of malnutrition on treatment tolerance, clinical outcomes and quality of life for people living with cancer.

Heba Anees El-Shesheni, Pharmacy Affairs General Supervisor at the Egyptian Healthcare Authority, explores pharmacists’ roles in identifying nutritional risk, providing advice, referring patients for specialised support, and supporting the management of cancer anorexia–cachexia syndrome. The series reinforces the pharmacist’s contribution within multidisciplinary cancer care teams.
