FIP has launched its Global Situation Report on Pharmacy 2025 (GSRP) at the opening ceremony of the 83rd FIP World Congress in Copenhagen, Denmark, today.
Drawing on global data, contributions from member organisations, and case studies from all six World Health Organization (WHO) regions, the report outlines priorities to advance pharmacy practice, education, science and workforce in alignment with the WHO Global Workforce Strategy 2030 and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Produced by the FIP Global Pharmaceutical Observatory, the GSRP addresses workforce capacity, education pathways, evolving pharmacy services, digital health innovation, and professional resilience.
“This report is more than a routine publication — it’s an accessible global intelligence platform for actioning. The GSRP provides a source of insight and direction needed to help decision-makers invest in pharmacy as a powerful driver of stronger, more resilient health systems,” said Ian Bates, Director of the FIP Global Pharmaceutical Observatory
