This webinar is designed to bring the issues of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and stewardship (AMS) to the forefront of our consciousness as a continent and highlight the roles of pharmacists and other healthcare personnel, and ways of curbing the issue in private facilities, many of which are unregulated sources of antimicrobials within the healthcare delivery system in various countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. There will then be a panel discussion to further enable participants to identify low hanging fruits that can be exploited in enabling a reversal of this deadly trend.
