    Proguanil hydrochloride is recommended by the WHO for treatment of uncomplicated Plasmodium falciparum infections. The biowaiver procedure based on Biopharmaceutical Classification System (BCS) utilizes dissolution testing as a tool for bioequivalence evaluation instead of in vivo pharmacokinetic studies, thus helping to reduce cost
