Purpose
The purpose of this project was to reduce the frequency of non-value added clinical alerts in a pharmacy order verification system. To accomplish this, a process to review the clinical significance of alerts provided by a commercial vendor and assess the impact of suppressing select alerts was developed.
Methods
Baseline alert.. The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
