Background
Dispensing is a duty of the pharmacy profession and therefore must assume responsibility for its quality and outcomes.

Aim
To evaluate the current dispensing system at the out-patient hospital pharmacy.
Methods
Standard operating procedures (SOPs) were reviewed to obtain a better understanding of dispensing activities. Dispensing practices The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
