I. Background
Many maternal and child health related deaths in Pacific Island Countries (PICs) may be prevented with readily available medicines provided by suitably trained health personnel. A new approach to education is needed.
II. Aims
This paper presents the workplace impact of competency based education for pharmacy personnel in PICs.
III. The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
