Robert Moss was born into a family of cummunity pharmacists. After completing his study he chose to specialise as a hospital pharmacist. He joined the pharmaceutical staff of the Central Hospital Pharmacy in The Hague. He he worked as a clinical pharmacist and as manager at a local hospital in the The Hague area.
