  Key words: analgesics, chronic headache, a pharmacist, a protocol for self-treatment of headache  Inappropriate use of medicines for the acute treatment of headache is a major risk factor of chronic headaches. Sales of non-prescription analgesic in the pharmacy is growing and it is estimated that one third of them used to relieve headaches.
