Background
Diabetes becomes one of the major health issues in Iraq; in 2017 IDF reported 1,411.5 cases of diabetes in Iraq (with prevalence 7.5).
Methods
A cross-sectional study was carried and included diabetic patients who admitted to the inpatients department at Al- Hussain General Hospital in Karbala, Iraq; from November 2017 till March 2018.
