Background
AMR refers to a natural phenomenon where microorganisms become resistant to antibiotics originally effective in treating them. There is a link between high antibiotic use and the emergence of AMR. GPs cite ‘patient pressure’ as a reason for unnecessary prescriptions. Directly challenging this by increasing awareness of AMR in the public..
