  Backgrounds

  Meropenem-valproic acid interaction is critical in clinical practise, plasma levels of valproic diminished to undetectable concentrations, producing seizures in patients.

  Aims

  The aim was to conduct a systematic review of all cases reported following rules of Cochrane.
