Backgrounds
Development of orphan drugs for rare and neglected diseases is fraught with opportunities and challenges globally. The opportunities include incentivizing of researchers and manufacturers in fee reduction or no fees for protocol assistance, preauthorization inspections, marketing authorization, grants, and granting of market..
