Backgrounds
Thromboelastometry (Rotem®) is a system that is used in point-of-care units whenever a fast method for assessing a patient’s coagulation status is needed. With the advent of new devices using cartridges containing one or more Cryopellets, i.e. lyophilized spheres consisting of a matrix plus a reagent instead of liquid reagents the..
