  Backgrounds

  Knowledge about drug absorption at different parts of the GI tract is essential.

  Aims

  To develop a simple, reliable and convenient method for administration of drugs in any form at any location in the GI tract for absorption studies.

  Methods

  A smooth small-bore tube (OD 0.6 mm) is introduced through the nose and retrieved from the pharynx.
