  For development of a feasible lipid based formulation in soft gelatin capsules a good solubility of the therapeutic ingredient in the lipid vehicle is required to ultimately minimize capsule size. For developing a self-emulsifying system, the excipients need to be selected based upon drug compound solubility and chemical compatibility.
