Von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) protein is a member of an E3-ubiquitin ligase complex that target α subunits of hypoxia-inducible factors 1 and 2 (HIFα). The loss of VHL occurs in over 80% of clear cell Renal Cell Carcinoma (ccRCC). HIF-2α has been shown to be an oncogene in VHL-null RCC. Therefore, inhibition of HIF-2α expression would be an..
