Transition metal complexes have been utilized as catalyst for various types of organic reactions. Since some of the complexes in the lower oxidation state often shows lipophilic nature, such complexes might be introduced into lipophilic layer of liposomes, and the resulting metalloliposomes might have some characteristic function, such..
