• Abstract:

  COPD is an illness that afflicts people worldwide. In 2012 5 % of all deaths in the world (3 million) due to COPD, 90 % of the deceased were in low income/middle income countries. WHO fear an increase of COPD by more than 30 % within the next 10 years, estimated to be the third leading cause of death in 2030.
