  The Irish Institute of Pharmacy (IIOP) was established by the pharmacy regulator (PSI) to oversee a new system of Continuing Professional Development (CPD). The functions of the IIOP include the establishment of a formal system of accreditation for CPD programmes, using standards set by the PSI.
