• Abstract:

  Co-existence of malaria with bacterial infections is common in tropics especially in paediatrics, hence concurrent use of antimalarials and antibiotics. Previous studies reported marked decrease in bioavailability of Beta-lactam antibiotics by antimalarials in healthy adults after oral administration in addition to decrease in in vitro activity.
