I read Pharmacy at the University of Nottingham (1990-1993) and registered as a pharmacist after a pre-registration year in industry (Hoechst UK) and hospital (Milton Keynes General NHS Trust). Subsequently I gained a PhD degree from The School of Pharmacy, University of London (1998), completed a Professional Certificate in Teaching and Learning
