  • Abstract:

    Background:Salbutamol sulfate (SS) a direct acting sympathomimetic is used for treatment of acute and chronic asthma. Orally administered SS or swallowed portion of inhaled dose undergoes first pass metabolism. Nasal delivery has a distinct advantage of protecting drug from hepatic first-pass metabolism.
