I. Background
Arachidonic acid (AA) metabolites, in particular epoxyeicosatrienoic acids (EETs) have been implicated in the regulation of vascular tone. We have demonstrated previously that losartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), decreases the formation of EETs from AA in vitro , by inhibiting human cytochrome P4502C9 (CYP2C9).II. Aim
