Depuis plusieurs décennies, les  produits médicaux de qualité inférieure et falsifiés et le trafic illicite de médicaments préoccupent au plus haut point le monde de la santé francophone. L’Organisation mondiale de la Santé estimait en 2017 qu’un médicament sur 10 dans les pays à revenu faible ou intermédiaire ne satisfaisait pas aux tests de contrôle de la qualité et était donc de qualité inférieure ou falsifié. Les Ordres de pharmaciens francophones sont fortement mobilisés et de nombreuses initiatives ont été menées par chaque pays. Ce webinaire sera l’occasion d'aborder des thématiques cruciales avec l'intervention de plusieurs Ordres des Pharmaciens d’Afrique.

Pharmaceutical education and science in Europe are entering a new phase of innovation, driven by rapid digital transformation, evolving competency frameworks, and the need to future-proof the pharmacy workforce. To advance this progress, FIP, through the UNITWIN Network on Global Pharmacy Education Development and in collaboration with UNESCO, is launching the FIP-UNESCO UNITWIN Centre for Excellence in Europe. Building on the findings of the 2025 FIP-UNESCO UNITWIN Strategic Roadmap: European Regional Insight Board report and aligned with UNESCO’s 2023–2027 agreement, this CfE will provide a platform for systematic and evidence-based advancement in pharmaceutical education, science, and practice.

This webinar aims to inspire community pharmacists to adapt to be fit for the future for the benefit of their patients in their rapidly evolving health and challenging economic landscape by introducing them to the Modern Community Pharmacy Practice model.

The pharmaceutical industry uses different kinds of water in their manufacturing processes. The pharmaceutical industry has a direct influence on public health and safety, thus, adhering to water quality standards becomes even more critical. A category of water used widely by this industry is WFI (Water for Injection). Traditionally, the industry has relied on distillation—a robust but costly and energy-intensive process—to produce Water for Injection (WFI) in compliance with regulatory standards. This webinar examines the advantages of advanced membrane systems for low-temperature WFI production, emphasizing improved efficiency, compliance, long term sustainability, and safety.

 International Society of Oncology Pharmacy Practitioners (ISOPP) invites submissions of abstracts for its 2026 symposium. This event welcomes oncology pharmacy practitioners, researchers, and those involved in service evaluation or clinical audit. Key deadlines: abstracts due 31 October 2025. Accepted abstracts will be published in the Journal of Oncology Pharmacy Practice.
