  Background
  
  The Pharmacy of Your Choice (POYC) national scheme was incepted in Malta, in 2007, after long negotiations with the Malta Government by the Malta Chamber of Pharmacists and the Chamber of SMEs Pharmacy Section, on behalf of pharmacists and pharmacy owners, respectively and jointly.
