John is President of the Western Pacific Pharmaceutical Forum, a group aligned with FIP and working with WHO to advance pharmacy practice in the Western Pacific Region. He is also Director of Project Pharmacist within the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Monash University, Melbourne. The project aims to facilitate enhanced and sustainable roles for pharmacists in primary care. It aligns with his main interests of health and pharmaceutical policy and funding, fostering pharmacists’ professional practice and the capacity and capability of the pharmacy workforce.
