Dechun JIANG , Vice director of Pharmacy Department of Xuanwu Hospital of Capital Medical University in Beijing, China Chief pharmacist, Associate chief Physician of Pediatrics, Associate professor of Pharmacology. No.45, Changchun Street, Xicheng district, Beijing Work Phone:0086-10-83198162 Mobile Phone:0086-18510142769 E-mail:jiangdechun@sina.com To get Doctor Degree of Pediatrics from Peking University in 2004, To do postdoctoral research of Pharmacology at Capital Medical University in 2005 and at Vienna Medical University in 2008. As a pediatrician, I have done clinical work in pediatric for 13 years. As a clinical pharmacist, I have provided pharmaceutical service according to Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM), and to do study on Population Pharmacokinetics /Pharmacodynamics (Pop PK/PD) for 10 years. A PPK and a PPK/PD model of Valproate (VPA) in children with epilepsy in China was successfully set up by using USC*PACK and NONMEM software. Based on them, VPA serum concentrations can be predicted accurately and individual PK parameters can be estimated conveniently with a Bayesian approach, the efficacy probability for any concentration can be calculated. To study influences of gene polymorphisms upon antiepileptic drugs Clearance in patients with epilepsy, to evaluate the effects of CYP2C19 and CYP2C9 gene polymorphisms on VPA clearance of Chinese epileptic patients by NONMEM software. Based on this model, antiepileptic drugs serum concentrations and individual pharmacokinetic parameter can be predicted accurately according to genotype. I have published more than 58 papers, included SCI cited 5 papers, and attended international congress for many times, and they are “Comparison of Chinese Hospital Pharmacy Practice and FIP Global Conference Consensus Statements” and “Real-time Drug Supervision and Administration Mode Based on Internet”, “Comparison of Chinese Hospital Pharmacy Practice and FIP Global Conference Consensus Statements”, “The role of generics in treatment, a physician's perspective.” and “The role of pharmacogenomics in treatment, a physician’s perspective” on 69, 70, 71 FIP Congress.
