DESCRIPTION:Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming higher education and is increasingly influencing teaching, assessment, feedback, and student support within pharmacy education. While AI offers significant opportunities to enhance educational effectiveness and efficiency, it also raises important questions regarding accountability, professional judgement, transparency, and public trust. This webinar examines how academic leaders can define appropriate ethical boundaries for AI adoption in pharmacy education. Drawing on perspectives from higher education and pharmacy education, participants will explore where AI can appropriately support educational activities, where human oversight remains essential, and how schools and faculties can develop governance approaches that preserve professional integrity, educational quality, and public trust. This webinar represents the first consultative dialogue informing the development of the AIM Handbook on Ethical Governance of Artificial Intelligence in Pharmacy Education. Learning Objectives: 
1. Explain key ethical considerations associated with the use of AI in pharmacy education. 2. Distinguish between educational activities that may appropriately be supported by AI and those that require human professional judgement and oversight. 3. Examine issues of accountability, transparency, and responsibility when AI influences educational decisions and outcomes. 4. Evaluate ethical risks associated with AI adoption in teaching, assessment, feedback, and student support. 5. Identify principles that can guide academic leaders in defining ethical boundaries and establishing responsible governance of AI within schools and faculties of pharmacy.
