Background information:
Noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) account for 74% of global mortality, yet efforts to reduce their impact remain inadequate. Fatty liver disease, a “silent NCD,” can asymptomatically progress to advanced liver diseases. Effective treatment of NCDs, such as fatty liver disease, is crucial to avoid further increased..
