Background and Objectives: On an inpatient ward, injectable medications must be compatible. Mixing drugs or diluents incorrectly can lead to treatment failure, microembolism or severe toxicity. The challenge of providing correct advice on injectable medication is made more difficult by pharmacy interns limited clinical exposure and nascent..
