Introduction:
Intravenous therapy is one of the most common treatments in hospitals. Most patients have a peripheral intravenous catheter and receive multiple parenteral drugs. In clinical practice, simultaneous administration of multiple parenteral drugs via the same lumen is unavoidable. For patient safety, it is important to know Y-site.. The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
