Introduction and Background:
Sodium bicarbonate administration in pediatric emergency settings has been associated with adverse drug reactions (ADRs), including burns and extravasation. Previously, cases of sodium bicarbonate-related burns were reported in the Emergency Department (ED) . at that moment there were not standardized guidelines..
