Introduction
The inappropriate use of antimicrobials can push the environment out of balance, cause unnecessary waste that can contaminate our soil, animals and waterways and, ultimately, contribute to the propagation of antimicrobial resistance (AMR). The World Health Organisation has deemed AMR as one of the top 10 global public health threats.. The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
