Background:
Quinolines and naphthohydroquinones are found in natural products such as quinine and alkannin, respectively. These structures have shown important bioactivity such as anticancer, antibacterial, antifungal, and antimalarial. Some examples bioactive compounds currently in use for the treatment of such diseases are: Ciprofloxacin,..
