Background information
Chronic pruritus (CP) is a persistent condition that significantly impairs patients' quality of life, often leading to frequent scratching, skin lesions, sleep disturbances, and depression. CP may result from underlying diseases or medication use, such as atopic dermatitis, prurigo, or epidermal growth factor receptor..
