    Background:

    Malaria is an important cause of death and illness in children and adults worldwide, most of them in Sub-Saharan Africa.Federal Government of Nigeria adopted in 2005, the use of Artemisinin-based combination therapies as first line drugs for management of uncomplicated falciparum malaria.
