    BACKGROUND:

    Several non-randomized prospective studies have shown that pharmaceutical care improves the quality of care of patients with chronic diseases such as type 2 diabetes mellitus.


    AIMS:

    To investigate the clinical and humanistic outcomes of pharmaceutical care in ambulatory type 2 diabetes mellitus patients.
