    Backgorund

    Because of the advantages in biologic agent delivery of chitosan and its derivatives, e.g. permeation enhancing effect, enzyme inhibitory capabilities, and mucoadhesive properties, thus they could also be used for intratumoral delivery of biological agents, gene, for GI related cancers including pancreatic cancer.
