  • Abstract:

    Background

Patient counselling is a core element of the pharmaceutical care process. Most patients visiting the outpatient clinic have two or more drugs on their prescriptions. It is therefore imperative that the pharmacist provide appropriate, understandable and relevant information that will help the patient achieve definite therapeutic outcomes.
